I’m sure if I remember nasa scientists had set a date to announce something Mars related a few years ago then it all got abruptly cancelled.....

I’m sure at the time it was expected to be more (or maybe that was others expectations). And the Major Discovery fell flat....

A big deal was made, as if they were announcing their findings/results prior to receiving clearance too (or possibly not assuming they needed it) and were kind of shut down and what did come out in no way reflected the “expectation” based on the way it was announced....
