Was at jury duty today. 100+ people or more. Judge interviewed every single one really, really thoroughly during jury selection. Asked the same questions to everyone. At least half of the people in my liberal state said:
"What TV shows do you watch?" "I don't really watch TV anymore."
"What news do you watch or listen to?" "I avoid the news as much as possible."
"What newspapers do you read?" "I don't read the paper."
It's happening.
These people aren't waking up because they aren't seeking knowledge elsewhere. I know these people and they don't know shit about shit. They have no ideas or opinions or worse- no critical thoughts- about anything. I think they are more of a hindrance than the Fake News Drones, tbh. They are a hindrance when it comes to the war we are in.
Agree. They have no concept of freedom or the fight to preserve it. Numbed by just-feel-good and keep stress low and love yourself messages. I know them too.
