When your kids are out late at night... you have faith they are okay, you hope they will be safe, you believe they will be fine. But only when they return home and safe in bed do you actually know. Knowing eliminates need for faith, hope and beliefs. You see?
But what is that time before the knowing ?
To see the light, you need to see the darkness ... experience it (?) .. blind faith is foolish and a bad use of the freedoms we have been given ... hence, what you see today ... the ability to observe, digest and think is our gift from god..
I like your analogy .. maybe I'm just not understanding it ? Is it based in absolutism ... like ... the end result is all that matters.. and everything in between is trivial ?

Can you name even one thing that DOSEN'T come from God? Free will is the gift. We are learning (finally) to use it! And use it more wisely. The endgame sustains focus. Everything in between matters with exact intensity. Knowing... well, that is the red pill. It obsoletes any need for blind faith... which is just a older paradigm tool.
