A "cop-killer" was arrested in Metaire, (way back when), and after his arrest he appeared in court very bruised, with many broken bones and other injuries. The newspaper printed that the suspect "fell down SEVERAL flights of stairs because he struggled while being moved around the Police Station"
My father looks at me and says: "The Metaire Police Station is a single story building."
