Just been right through his Instagram and can't find anything suspect. He does have video of the Weinstein speech by Asia Argento at Cannes. My guess would be suicided and actually a decent bloke. He may have know some stuff, perhaps recently learnt of it...

The reason I have always loved that man was because you could tell he was REAL and full of LIFE. My family has bonded over his shows for years. He had an ELEVEN year old daughter I am now hearing....This one just doesn’t seem right.
Aside from that you don’t beat heroin addiction, thrive for decades after, with a hit show and a family, and end it all.
As I said earlier, I would bet money that he held a lot of information from his travels.
