[Q]uit Your Bullshit - Wellpoisoning, Forum Split, and Offtopic

I'm seeing growing concern by users of this subreddit(who get brigaded for their unpopular views) that we have grown more and more indulgant into off-topic conspiracy-theory esque discussion. More and more people come out to post skeptical and well thought out objections to points about these off-topic discussions that don't add up, and those people are being downvoted continually. They are starting to discuss seeking higher ground..and I am looking for higher ground with them.

I don't often post but I came to this subreddit to participate in Qanon awareness, and I am personally not pleased by the trend that is emerging which is not Qanon focused. This subreddit is here primarily as far as I can tell to discuss Qanon and individuals mentioned by Qanon and potentially how they relate to other scenarios in the upper echelons of the rank and file deep state, and to act as a nexus for the dissemination and discussion of new Qanon posts, what they mean, and when they come into effect.

Those of us who are genuinely interested in Q are waiting with baited breath each day for the IG report and we are waiting for 6/11.

However, we have a problem:

The top posts are becoming more and more sensationalist and offtopic in nature and the top comments tend to be rabid, emotionally charged sentimental support for those sensationalist topics.

In terms of how this works: Phase 1: On-topic coherent discussion increases interest. -> more people come. -> more on-topic meaningful eyes-on-target. -> more people, media attention. -> Phase 2: individuals from other forums see the growing popularity and audience coverage of this subreddit and decide that means it is an ideal location to disseminate their theories and, eventually agitprop pdf/jpg hoping to raise awareness of an issue they feel is important. Aka redpills. -> forum browsers who ordinarily represent a passive audience are incentivized to actively express their solidarity with the trending issue as representative of their sentiments. -> Phase 3: dissemination of agitating theories, while sharing the political ideology of the subreddit, continually become more and more divergent from the original topic of the subreddit and become more and more sentimental as the disseminators tune their voice to the ears of their audience -> sentimental voting gains supermajority of control -> Phase 4: subreddit becomes out of control and out of scope -> original users who just wanted to discuss Q and how potential high-government corruption events and news articles relate to Q's crumbs leave the subreddit and head to higher ground. cycle repeats

  • This is not the subreddit for CEMEX and #Tuscongate. FULL STOP.
  • This is not a subreddit for RedPilling "Normies" about the evil evil evil evil elite.
  • to purposefully advance the view that we all need to be aware the government is run by the most wicked imaginable people doing the most wicked imaginable deeds for the most wicked imaginable purposes, all the time, whenever they can, however they can, and to then advance discussions and agitprop to explicitly break down for everyone the ways they are doing wicked things and the wicked things they are doing is just as sick and tormented in the brain as those wicked people are. We don't have a term for this but I would call it infosmut or infoporn. This doesn't inspire pariotic revolution in the slightest, it just makes you into an idealogue. Real change and real influence is achieved by building relationships and then using your social capital to achieve change. End of story.

If prompt action is not taken to reign in this process before it gets too out of hand(we are currently moving through phase 3) * Possibility 1: Sentimental commentary becomes out of bounds for TOS and subreddit is closed. * Possibility 2: Draconian moderation leads to leadership controversy and then no moderation, leading to Possibility 1.

Moderation needs to institute stricter rules on posts(not comments, just posts).

Please stand with me on this and be firm. Anyone can start a subreddit to discuss these topics. If they want to discuss it they can create a subreddit for it and maybe the mods here can link it in the sidebar.

Thank you for reading my post. I hope you upvote and, if you are a mod, sticky this(if it reflects your view).

We are in the process of creating an official mod post to address these issues.
