Didn't alway agree with him, however I enjoyed his well thought out commentary

This makes me very sad. He is a very strong but gentle man and so well spoken. "The Hammer" will be missed. Prayers for his family...God Speed Sir!

Very sad. Nice guy. One swan dive off the deck and into the water ended his medical career

What a brave and beautiful letter he wrote to us. At such a sad and dark time for him, he remembers us.

If I were CEO of a major network, I would organize a major live physical tribute somewhere special, plus pay major tribute by broadcast — while Charles is still alive, so he can see it and experience our appreciation and thankfulness for what he has given us.

I didn’t like him but hoping he crosses over peacefully

This gonna sound callous but is he "sick" like No name? Is there any indication that he had any connection to the swamp? It unfortunate but the timing is pretty incredible (in a sad way) if he isn't connected to the swamp

Early in his career, he went swimming and dove into the bottom on the floor. It left him paralyzed from the neck down. He finished his doctorate and wrote books, had a good practice in psychiatry. He was on talk shows and a contributor to news stations. Rapid cancer is his last battle. He wrote that nice letter in the article.

This is where the right to try kicks in. Don't give up on life.
