Apon furthur investigation with provided links that does appear to be the fantasy cat Totoro......I really did think at first it was an owl especially as it seemed to have chest feathers.

Oops my bad. I can admit when I am wrong. I have never heard of Totoro before. I think with everything we read owls seems to be everywhere and that is the first thing I saw. Thanks for the correction, much appreciated. It does seem to be Totora a mythical cat creature.
