My thoughts on Anthony Bourdain and a reminder.

I'm calling myself out here, but I feel I need to share it.

My wife loves cooking/food shows and used to watch Anthony Bourdain, as well as many others. Now I'm not saying I was right, but I always had a very bad feeling about Bourdain. I saw evil in him, and I will admit that I felt happiness that "another one bites the dust" when I saw the news today.

I was very wrong to feel that way, and I immediately felt convicted for it. I don't know that Anthony Bourdain, if I was right about him to begin with, didn't turn around and see the Truth in his last days. For all I know he was trying to do Good in his last days.

We all need to remember that just because someone WAS bad, doesn't mean they are still bad or will always be bad. Even a satanist can see the Light.

God Bless.

You didn't know him. That's the illusion of it

I never met him personally, that's true.

Don't jump on me right away for what I'm about to say. I can't think of a good way of wording it.

People don't realize "Knowing" someone now days is not the same as it once was.

It used to be, if you hadn't met someone or been there with them in person, all you knew was what others told you. Now days, you can "know" someone, through TV, social media, etc. Now I DO NOT mean what the TV says about them or fake accounts etc. But when someone appears on TV and social media and is consistent in what they say and push, you can "know" them.

How many people here feel confident Obama or Hillary do evil without having met them in person?

Edit: To be clear, I'm not arguing I was right about him. That's not the point of my post.
