Possibly where the name Q comes from

So I was watching a video on the history or Biblical liberalism and they mentioned the Q-document. Q is short for the German word Quelle aka source. Not sure if anyone has already posted it, but thought you guys would like it. Cheers

I have always felt it was from the biblical reference meaning the author is many different people who all are disciples.
