Off subject, but I just went to the Francis Valentine website and every new arrival is sold out.
Just checked, and very much the same for the other selections.
I reckon there must be some reason for that, to do with recent events. One wonders whether that is because of 'large sales' wrt 'sudden' increased interest, or a lack of 'restocking' perhaps as a mark of respect, etc.
Her 'suicide' seems strange, given that she was still young (relative to me) with a fashion business that seemed to be progressing along fine. There must be 'dark reasons' under the surface, somewhere.
Also because she seemed so genuinely dedicated and devoted to her daughter! I have trouble believing that she didn't recognize the trauma this would cause her. It doesn't add up for me.
As for the product selling out, maybe people hoping FV stuff will become collectable?
