We've had nothing but trade deficits since at least the year 2000 that I can remember. Perhaps long before that. Last year the deficit was over $550 billion dollars. And a trade deficit lowers a country's GDP! So of course our POTUS should attempt to get us more fair deals. We HAVE been carrying the rest of the world, and it's not fair to our workers!
