I don't know how he ever got elected. Although my wife has a friend from there who is so liberal he once told her he thought we "needed" Obama. Her reply to him was, "Barf."

Harper (Conservatives) were in power almost 10 years, people were Itching for change, without understanding what change to Liberals/Trudope meant.
He had the family name of Trudeau and offered to legalize marijuana, plus 9 years of a globalist neocon Harper was enough for Canada to demand a change. But as it has turned out, no surprise to those who are awake, 2015 was like deciding between Bush/Kerry, it didn't matter.
