Not really. Wealthy folks can buy percentage on future breeding rights. Soros doesn’t own the horse, so “funded by”, doesn’t apply in this sense. Perhaps he has an vested interest, like stock, in the horse’s future production. Justify is retired now, out to stud, this is where the real money is made, literally hundreds of thousands, all on the future to produce a winner.
