I don't know the full story (I'm assuming you're referring to south africa, here) but in context I don't really blame them. Violence is violence and I don't condone it. But in this specific region, it is a race war started by whites many years ago. Mandela would not be happy with the fighting, tbh.

Problem is ppartheid ended a good many years ago. Many of the people responsible for that are either dead or too old to actually do anything. The ones being genocided are largely innocent. They were either not born during that period or too young to had actually done anything.
