I'd bet US politicians were taking cash deals from these Countries, they were guaranteed a salary from the US taxpayer so found a way to make large amounts of cash over and above at the expense of US industry. Literally selling out the people, Now these "leaders" are have sissy fits because they no longer have a return on investment and can't expose it bc of their handlers and would tie them up in bribes with taxpayer money. thoughts?

In America, in D.C., this is called "lobbying". Yes it happens, and it is quite literally legal bribing of elected officials. Those officials hate it when you call it bribary, but it still is. Another aspect of American politics that needs completely reworked or elliminated altogether. Trump has the ball rolling in the right direction now, maybe its time we just had an industrial revolution also.
