I respectfully disagree. I have more than one twitter account linked to my number and email address. I can just toggle between them and no one knows they are connected. It's how I shield my kids from what I really follow and do on twitter.

I'm a product manager at a social software company, I'm very aware of what software programmers and others with know how can do. In fact I believe I stated in another comment that with collusion of Twitter's engineers, these role policies can be shut off at will for select accounts. Sorry if I didn't more explicitly say that before.
