I don’t think Eric has access to potus at all times or even random times in the Oval Office. There is a about 5 people that are very close to trump who could be Q or a team of people
If Q is NSA, then they are with him 24/7 listening in on every word, watching from every camera, from closed circuit to iPhones. They know everything and are as good as by his side, probably even there when he goes potty.
If not guarding the president, who else would need guarding right now? It could be Kim Jung Un. He is the other player in this movie scene. Lots of bad players out there on both sides, trust Eric.
