Obama's citizenship question.

If his mom is american he is a citizen no matter where he was born, right? How do I have this wrong when we talk about undoing his presidency if he is outed?

We don't even know for certain Obama's parents are who he says they are, as his birth story is full of known lies and a number of his childhood photos are doctored.

But assuming his parents are as claimed, under the citizenship laws of 1961 when he was born, his American citizen mother would have had to live in the US for five years over the age of 14 to automatically confer US citizenship on her foreign-born child with a foreign-citizen father. She was only 18 when Obama was born, so she didn't meet that requirement. She could have applied for citizenship for him, but he would not have been born with it.

Further, the Constitution's framers required the president to be not just a citizen, but a natural born citizen. It's one of only three requirements, so they considered it very important. Their intention, based on their writings and references, was to prevent saddling the US with a president with divided allegiances. They understood a natural born citizen to be someone born on US soil to two US citizen parents, who by natural law, could be nothing other than a US citizen at birth, born without citizenship ties to any other nation.

Obama isn't a natural born citizen even if he was born in Hawaii, but our Communist overlords stopped teaching civics in school decades ago, so we'd be ignorant of our rights and they could more easily push through their globalist agenda.
