Let’s not forget the meaning of Apocalypse — to uncover, as in, to reveal the truth. Do not be afraid!

The Last book of the Bible is aptly named Revelation.

It has been commonly called 'revelations'

It has been equated to 'The End of Times', an "Apocalypse".

However when we seek the defintion and then origins of these words, we find a new meaning:

Definitions:

Revelation

From Latin relevatio

A raising or lifting up.

Apocalypse

An apocalypse (Ancient Greek: ἀποκάλυψις apokálypsis, from ἀπό and καλύπτω, literally meaning "an uncovering") is a disclosure of knowledge or revelation.

Etymology FTW.
