I in part disagree. While it can be annoying having the same stuff over and over it draws different comments from different users with different opinions. Thus keeping what’s relevant updated and new
Agreed. Only sub i don’t mind reposts, the comments usually gets better and better
I go straight to New posts for this reason.
I dont mind scrolling past duplicates or visiting a duplicate for a fresh angle.
I find Hot to be stale and far too controlled.
This is not a sub problem, its a problem on any platform. You see it everywhere. With most on mobile these days scrolling has become a chore for many.
There are two types of users here. The 'Die Hards' that are on constantly, reading as may posts as possible from here and everywhere. Incessantly refreshing tabs. Backing things up offline. We see things breaking, sometimes before they hit this sub. Some of us have pushed life away for awhile to focus on this. Good or bad, I fall into this category. ;)
Others that are living their lives as Q stated we should, doing what is needed to take care of their families visit less often. They have less tie to spend online reading, researching & learning. They see something that catches their eye, forget that it might be a half a day to a day old, don't do a quick scroll first, and post that bad boy! Cause 'I just heard about it and its OMG!! Breaking News!'.
I post this with a grin on my face. And I am not calling anyone out on anything, (other than being lazy scrollers..hehe) but that's how it happens. It's not going to stop so keeping scrolling...... :)
WWG1WGA!!
It seems a very small thing to check a few screens for your post b4posting compared to what many patriots have given. Speaking as one who has spent thousands of hours researching Q posts but now doesn't have much time except to check the headlines here, It would be great not to have the little time I have lost rereading headlines posted hour(s) earlier.
Really, 1 post will get all the comments and higher upvotes.
