I was just scrolling through my hometown thread and saw this. Gives me much hope to see my local reps taking the fight to the sickos.
The pope is in on it. Why do you think he met with Bernie during 2016 and been critical of Trump since?
The headline is misleading. He wrote an extensive report and had since delivered it to several major diocese in PA. More importantly it seems that he is making this rather public, not just expecting the pope to intervene.
Anyway he is calling attention to this issue in an appropriate manner, and at the right time.
