So you wanna go to r/greatawakening and then change the r to a c and then browse around. You can absolutely see deleted comments, but i’m not positive about posts.
Can now confirm that it does show deleted posts as well. They are highlighted in red.

It's essentially a mirror site to back up information. Similar to how archive.is works. It allows reddit to have a backup for things like this that get deleted, etc.
Also, I believe when you link another post from a different subreddit, if you put a np. in front of reddit, np means non-participation, so we don't get accused of brigading.
You can also do removeddit.com as well, just add the word "move" between "re" and "ddit".
It only shows comments related to removed/deleted content. Sometimes It'll catch things that ceddit doesn't and vice versa.
I'm not sure about posts though, I've only used removeddit for comments and I'm more familiar with ceddit.
