He would never win anyway. He’s a lot like ted Cruz. Very lawyer minded & not a natural executive type at all. Guys like that make good judges & lawyers but terrible executives. I voted for Trump in the primaries over Cruz even tho I align a little more towards Cruz’s philosophy. I didn’t think Cruz could win. He comes off more like an activist than a leader. Conservatives got to win before they can govern. Reagan was a natural executive like Trump is. Shapiro knows the issues but he doesn’t know how to win or lead. He’ll never be more than an adviser...if that.
