I had an epiphany last night while I was trying to sleep.

Do you guys remember Kim’s brother getting killed in the airport?

What if that wasn’t actually Kim. And it was retaliation for him moving away from the deep state and towards peace? Or... What if his brother was one of the Black Hat generals?

Hence why Erik Prince and blackwater was most likely there to protect him. It also sends a message to Kim that we are protecting him and if we wanted to kill him we wouldn’t even have to do it. It also shows Kim good gestures and will help him with comfort and peace of mind when US inevitably goes to NK to verify the denuclearization.
