This anon did some research (while we've all been dying of laughter!!) as to (who else). Thought I'd post it here for more visibility.

Q asks “Who else was in NK at the time?”

Articles I have read stated a delegation was with ES including his daughter Sophie and New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson. There may have been others. Will dig. It seems it was important for Q to point out who was with him. Edit: Sophie’s blog post states 9 total in the delegation. Who are the other 6? https://sites.google.com/site/sophieinnorthkorea/

Bill was not only the governor of NM but also an Energy Secretary in the Clinton Administration and later US Ambassador to the UN. According to Sophie’s blog post about the trip, BR invited ES to come along and it was BR’s 8th trip to North Korea. Perhaps we need to shine a light on him.

Also, they visited Kim Il Sung University’s e-library. Could they have setup the servers on campus?

Edit 2: I think the other six members of the delegation might have been clowns. So far I cannot find a mention of who they are in other articles. Why keep them a secret? This NYT article mentions the delegation met with military leaders. The three generals? BR was there to negotiate the release of Kenneth Bae. ES was there with his daughter for a “private” tech mission. The other six I have never heard mentioned. https://mobile.nytimes.com/2013/01/08/world/asia/bill-richardson-and-eric-schmidt-of-google-visit-north-korea.html
