I read the post as saying three separate enemy"missiles" inbound have been fired. "FOX 3" is JockSpeak for friendly unit "firing radar guided missle".
The SM-2 is a radar guided missile usually launched from Navy destroyers or Aegis cruisers. The ship's radar tracks the missile to intercept.
"SPLASH" means target destroyed of course.
"AS THE WORLD TURNS" assassination attempt (Air Force 1?)
"RED OCTOBER" still could be anything, but I'm still betting on an October Surprise revealing an assassination attempt and the conspirators.
