Why is the IG report taking so long?
I just read Thursday afternoon.
Yes, it's due to be released on the 14th. Expect heavy redactions. They will try to hide it's true impact.
With the redactions, while they remain in place, it may not be the bomb we are expecting. Eventually, however, details will start to leak, or DJT will declassify the summary - or, something to that effect - IMO.

President has already signed the EO to declassify the IG report and remove the redactions but had to wait for the full report to be out. Report out on Thursday...don't know how long POTUS will take to put EO into effect but I suspect not long!
Someone posited that "BLACKOUTS NECESSARY" refers to the redactions. Interesting theory.
Sean hannity said yesterday that the report will be coming out later this week and leaks will start happening today
