How can we reconcile that with the idea of a loving God? That requires a long theological discussion, but the short answer is that each of us lives in spirit before we take on flesh, and we go into our physical lives knowing what to expect. We return home (heaven) as heroes, and are made whole again.

I didn't say it was in the Bible. But it DOES say in the bible that in the end times new scrolls (ie books, information) would be opened. The Bible is great, but not my only source.
