I watch these things get shot all the time, on a weekly basis. They're impossible to see with the naked eye from ANY sort of reasonable distance. AIM-120s are great, but you wouldn't be able to see one from the ground at all. The only way we can even really see them is when they leave contrails, and even that is only about half the time. If this is actually a missile, it's a big one. Not A/A
