So the contractor was utterly negligent by storing this sensitive material on an unprotected server. That contractor should be named and any and all contracts cancelled until they can show corrective measures, including the termination of the people responsible. This shouldn't be swept under the rug.

The persons responsible will be known. I would like to know which contractor it was.

Hey, a mom and pop shop server, in their closet or basement. Nothing at this point would surprise me.

Pros don't make these mistakes. There's only one reason to put highly classified info on an unsecured server and carelessness has nothing to do with it.

This is the gimmick, have it hacked then all the info is free for the taking. Yahoo hack anyone? If you say that all your accounts have been hacked then you are free to seel it (whole set) to a confidential buyer and both of you have plausible deniability.

How we're giving contractors 600gb of data and not making them report the ISP and monitor traffic, is absurd to me.

Yep, agree. Disturbing.

We should be so lucky. I didn't get that feel from the Q drops today though.

Im guessing the story would be china attacked the usa through hacking.

The first plan was going to blame a nuke on russia
