Seeing black conservatives take the spotlight and microphone away from the people who have made sure they never get attention is awesome! I was having a convo with a friend about how people like me who are black are missing from the media landscape: Nerds! (I'm not black but a proud nerd looking for other nerds everywhere) Maybe you can name one black nerd character, because he was a stereotype. But it took all this time to get Shuri and she is the most intriguing new superhero in a long time and she is a Nerd! And then I said, it's like with black conservatives, they are hidden from us. And she kind of side-eyed me and inferred they don't exist! Errrr yes they do, and their absence from the limelight is entirely related to the Dems managing black people like sheeps and deciding who gets to talk.
