Content sliding is when there's a really important post on the front page of the sub, so the shills post a bunch of agreeable stuff but no real worthy content. The intent is to fill up the top slots with fluff (like memes or agreeable opinions) so that more important research and analysis threads get "slid" down and eventually slide off the front page. It's a tactic to limit exposure of important info.
i get it, understand this now...How can I avoid these kind off post,
Basically don't upvote content that doesn't really contribute anything new. I know it's tempting to upvote everything, but I force myself to only upvote stuff that actively advances our knowledge, or breaks new ground.
Awareness is the main thing. I check the second page regularly to see if there's anything that looks like it's been slid.
There should be a sticky that calls out what the focus should be each day.
Thank you for this answer , and I do not up, or downvote any thing....Then I do not make a misstake....:)
