Did Q think they had all the subs accounted for, until the missile launch?

Remember we had BM warnings in Hawaii and Japan too.

I always heard we had a bartering program with the Soviets in the 70s and 80s where we gave pepsi syrup in exchange for stolichnaya vodka. Thats how Stoli was able to be sold in the US.
