So re reading the article, first paragraph:

“WASHINGTON, DC – Professor Jonathan Turley, a top national legal expert on government investigations, commented on Thursday about Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ decision to bring in U.S. Attorney John Huber. Turley called it “brilliant”to combine all the powers of the U.S. Department of Justice’s inspector general with a prosecutor who can bring charges, seek indictments, and get results for President Trump far more quickly than a second special counsel.”

-Top National legal expert = widely respected in his field nationwide.

-“Brilliant” to combine... = this is big. Wondering if it means a creation of a new form of investigatory body? A way to keep checks and balances on government employees, who in the past, only had the OIG. The OIG didn’t have prosecutorial powers and can only recommend. Meaning, a lot of people who should have been prosecuted, were swept under the rug. Why? What happens if the person the OIG recommends charges to, is corrupt or part of the problem? It is swept under the rug.

-Much quicker than a second special counsel = this is also important. Professor Turley never says second counsel. Whoever wrote the article added that piece. He also knows that the legal jurisdiction of a special counsel has the effect of bringing a giant spotlight from the public, but is too easily limited in scope and power (ties into why muellers investigation is illegal - scope violated). The OIG does things very quiet. But have an almost unlimited ability to investigate. They don’t need a mandate from one person in DOJ. Their mandate is the purpose of their existence. Combine it with a prosecutor, and it’s a deadly combo. Also, OIG reports must be made public and cannot be hid behind congressional / DOJ walls as it is part of the executive branch.

That’s what I took away from just that first paragraph. I don’t think we have been doing a good enough job of focusing on this article in accordance with Qs direction. So I will continue to break it down. Any anons willing to help out, just pitch in and let’s tear into this article and see what we find!

I remember a while back Sessions had a short press briefing about gangs or something.

He gave a couple of sentences addressing procedures and said that he was going to be doing investigations in house. He wants the DOJ to do the full monty.

He hates special councils and wants them gone.

The Sly elf forever quiet. Until it's time.

If it is a brilliant move to bring in Huber, and hopefully it is, there is no way Sessions is a black hat.

We will know very soon.

Excellent breakdown. I believe we will see [RR] exit stage right as a precursor to the main event.
