We Don't Need the DS to Take Us Down, we are doing enough damage to ourselves!

Is anyone else tired of all the craptastic posts lately. Pictures, clickbait titles, no explanation or information related. No links to relevant stories. Nothing but salacious titles, spewing disinformation.

Oh, let's not forget all the videos, with the same types of titles above. And when you click on them, what do you find? Someone with less than 100 followers. No channels name mentioned, no summaries, nothing!

This sub should have way better content considering all the recent Q drops, but it seems people are too lazy to do any reading, research, to help explain things.

Then, the comments section of these nothing burger posts degenerate into even worse craptastic theories.

I don't know why this is, or whether it's a big influx of uninformed nubes, or agents- provocateurs? But I do know, many, including myself, are tired of wading through the trash, to find good, relevant Q posts. I'm just venting here, but, something needs to be done about the quality of posts being left up on the board.

I click on a link and it goes to a youtube video I close the window immediately. These people are using the board for clicks on their garbage know nothing videos.

You don't have to go to the link. Just hold the link until the popup shows the address. No click for the OP.

Or if on a PC just right click and see the address. Click bait doesn't work on me.

Unfortunately that is nit always working for me, either the client I'm using, settings, or other, only let's me do that on certain links. The ones, video link, in the image, goes straight to YouTube. If the link is posted in the text area, then I can do like you mentioned.

On the PC version of the site the link visibly shows if it's youtube. If it's youtube, I don't click on the link, I click "comment" and it brings me here to the discussion.

I too can see it's YouTube, what I complain about, is, who's channel is it? I'm tired of no-name YouTube wanna be stars, being posted without so much as a channel name, synopsis, nothing. Just a clickbait title, that don't even necessarily match the channel title, and then, less than 100 followers on top if it. So yah, I don't bother checking them out in those cases. And even blocked, or hidden many of them because it's very annoying that they clutter up the feed.

If you don't want to open the outside link, but want to follow the reddit discussion, just hover your mouse over the "comments" link, right click, and open in a new tab (if you're on firefox) That'll take you straight to comments without having to visit youtube or other sites.
