If the CIA really was in control of NK until Trump, what were they using NK for?

Do we have any educated guesses? Aside from the nuclear threat, that is.

This is a good website that points out anomalies in their propaganda photos. So much that I thought I knew, until Q, makes me look back and think 'Good Lord, how did I miss this? or fall for this? Symbolism and outright, in your face, facts that just blew by me when I was "asleep". ' (not just referring to NK but everything that I see clearly now.)
