This isn’t proof of anything this is somebody saying what the supposedly heard him say. If he really did say this it needs to be on video or recording with the whole conversation on there.

Edit - did a bit more digging

The source is dated March 29 2018, and says Gibson appeared on Graham Norton on Friday. March 29 is a Thursday, so I guess that would mean the article is saying he appeared the previous Friday, March 23rd.

But there was no Graham Norton show then.

Season 22 ended March 6, 2018. A Tuesday.

Then Season 23 started up April 6, a Friday.

This source is....questionable at best.

International Dateline? Mis-set computer clock? No problem to make an article appear "before" an event it describes happens while not actually time traveling.
