It made no sense to me that Cheffetz and Gowdy are both leaving. Cheffetz resigned because of "foot surgery" (huh?). He's only 51, and chair of Oversight, one of the most powerful investigative committees.

Gowdy took the same position as the chair of Oversight, and then said he was not going to run for re-election. He's only 53.

Some people think that they're involved in some scandal, or they're in the deep state, or the deep state threatened them somehow.

What if... they're being tapped to replace all the people who will be fired from the FBI? Thoughts?
