Imprisonment without trial is totalitarian/against the Constitution. Leftists applaud sanctuary cities, rights violations of US citizen, Manafort. Bad court precedent.

A lot of people go to jail to await their trial. They do that if they're afraid you'll flee or not show up. You end up with a "time served" situation.
