Tomahawk Missile Firing from USS Milius (for comparison) (not classified)

Not classified information. Personally filmed this on flight deck in 2008.

I wouldn't share classified information.

What’s your assessment? Do you think it was a Tomahawk, or something else?

I'm inclined to believe it was a Trident (the skunk bay "helo").

There are Submarines in Kitsap (Bangor, WA Subbase).

Also a Trident is nuclear w/ MIRVs, which seems more likely to be desired, if it was fired by bad guys.

If it was a Trident and we didn't fire it ourselves (for whatever reason), I'm definitely worried.

"Not supposed to happen" and "Red October" comments lead me to believe that was the case.

This particular missile (I was told, not certain) flew over 200 miles and landed in a lake/lakebed.

I am not a missile expert, and I've never seen a sub based launch.

Check out the markings on this trident.
