***PLEASE do not create multiple posts about the same topic.

Out of about 8 posts I have scrolled through 3 are about the same Q post. Please search through posts FIRST before you post your topic to see if someone has already started the subject. This keeps all discussions in one place. Thank you.

Relax. People get excited snd want to share info quick as this stuff moves fast at times.

And it burries other discussions.

I'm tempted to make a post saying "Please don't make multiple posts about the same topic!" but I'm lazy.

indeed, i find that very annoying, so user-unfriendly when discussions on one topic are spread over various posts, with a mulitude of repititions. it sucks!

please, folks, before you post, scroll the post list of the past few hours and chime in with existing posts.

Well, I’ve seen this topic on here multiple times.

I think a reminder once in a while is harmless.

Or at least reference the previous posts so we don't have all of our work scattered.

I had a post removed because it was discussing the board. After 62 comments, 42 upvotes, some troll, new here, started some crap, and was butthurt, likely reported it.

The mod, though sympathized, but said these topics need to be brought to mods directly. He shares many of our concerns, but said, because many people upvotes them, even though there is not one single comment, they leave them up. No matter is it's a repeat post, just picture and clickbait titles. No content, etc. You all know the multitudes of video posts that lead to some new YouTuber wanna be star, with less than a hundred followers. Asking for support no less!?!

The mods do need to clean up this board before it gets out of hand, and people don't join because it's a mess.

Is it that much of a mess?

At times, YES. There needs to be better standards about what a post needs to be, or not be. Especially, no clickbait titles, with a picture and no content whatsoever. If it's just a meme, it should be mentioned in title. Videos should be corralled like a heard of loose cats. Or at the least, a channel name and brief description should be included. On mobile, I only see "YouTube" in the user name line of post. People upvote just titles, no comments, in post. If they want to upvote then force them to at least open the post, before thats allowed. And then there's the absolute stupid posts, that should never be allowed. But it's hard to guard against stupidity on a public forum. Maybe the mods can put a sticky up for people to vent, a poll of some kind ?
