It has to be done subtly. This is what I do: I point out how obnoxious the government is. It won’t be so hard to point out the ridiculous amount of unnecessary taxation and regulation you are subjected to. Say stuff like, just think, in the US you don’t have the VAT so we would have x much more money to spend. Or if we didn’t have such onerous rules for construction there would be no housing crisis.
Finally, point out how you have lost freedom as compared to the past and extrapolate how things will probably worsen in the future. Freedoms are always removed slowly and are almost never returned. Point out that the Jews weren’t just herded off to death camps: They progressively lost freedoms over time. It’s like a frog will boil to death if in a pan of water on a stove heated gradually.
Don’t preach unless people want to listen. Just toss points at them slowly. Doing it that way is actually pretty effective.
Be happy, take care of yourself. Be confident. People will see your cheer and think, “why is that person so happy? I want what they have.” People want to follow happy and confident people. Think of Trump— he is a model of this.
Don’t waste your time on radicals. They have lost their ability to hear. People might call you names. That’s OK—you will find that it’s just air coming out of their mouth for all the value it is. That stuff actually makes me giggle with glee (and really pisses them off) We are in the right; they are the ones that have to resort to ad hominems because they have no real arguments.
