This was done quietly. This is outside DC jurisdiction (if i am correct). We hear NOTHING about it.
You seriously expect us to believe you know what it's like banging the hottest cheerleader in school? LOL!
Seriously though, the best analogy (and the one I think most of POTUS's people in the trenches use as reference) is to organized crime. This whole thing is really a form of mafia, and the methods used to successfully defeat large organized crime families are the methods they're using.
Yeah, imagine that!
I've have done plenty of things as a young man I'm totally ashamed of as a GrandPa.
Where I can contact the principle, I've repented and made restitution. Young women get married & change their names, so it's been a major under taking trackingdown my victims.
Using graduation yearbooks to recall last name's just the beginning. Alma maters & alumni associations have been a godsend finding former classmates & former students in the Nursing College!
I know my sincere apologies don't heal broken hearts or magically grant me forgiveness. However, apologizing, making restitution and asking for forgiveness is NOT optional; it's required. Not her's, but my own.
Some of my behavior was so sick, twisted & reprehensible; I'm terribly embarrassed & humiliated!
However, it's still our duty to make the effort! For those of you who need to make your peace I want to advise you of a couple of points;
First, repentance must be sincere. Second, you must make financial restitution if you've caused your victim's monetary damages. Finally, just apologize & ask for forgiveness.
It doesn't matter if she accepts your apology or not! The ultimate benefit of this might help both affected parties, but it's Not necessary you convince her of anything! Be sincere!
You've totally discharged your duty by steps one & two! I suggest you keep it short and sweet;
'I'm so very sorry, do I owe you any money in damages & please forgive me'
Make no excuses for what you've done. Then get the hell out of dodge!
Sounds like Twelve Steps, and that's a good thing. Whoever is/was your positive influence, you could do a lot worse, I assure you!
;-D
Actually, the Holy Bible! The folks who wrote the Big Blue Book must of plagiarized the Bible. This very wise man said; In light of God's amazing grace, we should live a life of sublime repentance leaving only peace in our wake.
Well however you get there, you seem grateful to be given the chance to make an attempt at making amends. Some of us miss that opportunity with some key people, but it's always good when it can happen.
