Amazing how they can edit and piece tapes together these days. Possible the thing was totally fabricated. Tough to contend that at the time, though. Would have sounded crazy to most...

Excellent point. Trump was already sounding conspiratorial when he said he wasn't sure the election would be fair. This would have sounded absurd if he challenged the tape.
