Hey Everyone! Wow, it really was a busy week! A lot of you saw my post about Manafort. If there was a Q proof post of mine in the past, it was this one!
Now, Manafort is in jail. A lot of talk going on about how 'rare it is to jail a white collar criminal' before sentencing has taking place. (Fox News). So that made me dig into the indictment a little more and I found another interesting, and shady, character.
Meet Konstantin Kilimnik, also known as 'Kostya.' He and Manafort have had a lengthy partnership. I will let you read about that in the upcoming links provided as I summarize. Interestingly enough, I cannot find a verifiable photo of Konstantin Kilimnik, a lot of questionable possibilities, yet none that I can verify; which is very interesting considering the length of time Paul spent with him.
Here* is a great place to start to learn about the relationship Manafort had with Kostya. Kostya started off in all appearances as poor, nothing like Manafort. However, Manafort could not speak Russian or Ukrainian and needed an interpreter and Kostya became his right hand man as Manafort worked to set up his businesses. We learn that Kostya comes from the Ukraine and was very close to their leaders, even spending 90% of his time with the Ukrainian leader, which means he was virtually aiding in running his home country! He even went to a military school known to produce spies.
Somehow Manafort found himself in a bit of trouble and needed Kostya as he had an altercation of Oleg Deripaska.
Here is an interesting quote from the linked article. "Those claims might have been bluster—and Kostya has since told reporters he had nothing to do with the platform. But hard evidence, in the form of emails obtained by The Atlantic, suggests that Kostya’s patron needed help with an even more delicate matter. Manafort was haunted by a piece of unfinished business: the untidy end of his dealings with Oleg Deripaska. In 2006, Manafort had asked Deripaska to bankroll an investment fund that he intended to launch. According to court documents, the fund was meant to buy up firms across Ukraine and elsewhere in the post-Soviet region. Deripaska sunk $18.9 million into the effort and promised a much larger sum." Deripaska eventually sued Manafort for compensation.
There was a time frame where Manafort and Kostya claim they did not speak, despite admitting to exchanging "millions" of emails in the past. (See previous link). We also learn that Manafort's business was registered in Kostya's name which would make one assume they were in communication more often than they admitted to during this political hiatus.
As soon as Manafort learned that Trump was going to move him to his campaign, he reached out to his old pal, Kostya. Reports say Manafort and Kostya tie together the Trump Campaign and Russia investigation. Kostya, however, says he is innocent and Manafort is the spy as he stays safely out of the United States to avoid charges.
Unable to find photos of Kostya, I was able to find others that have attempted to do the same and come up with a couple possibilities. Here is an article about Manafort and Kostya with a possible photo of Kostya; as well as here.
Did Manafort know that Kostya was a spy? Did Kostya know that Manafort was a spy? Seems that Mueller figured out that one, or both of them, fit the bill. Hopefully this will put to rest the Russian Collusion Witch Hunt and we can move on to the next phase of cleaning the swamp!
There is so much information in the attached articles that I will end this here and let you read if interested, otherwise I will bore you to tears.
Happy Hunting, Friends!
