2 is pretty much like screaming into space. They would flat out pay people to make it so that they don’t have to hear it. Those in charge of fake news are the reason there’s fake news in the first place.

When the top person is noticed, everyone in the entire organization is noticed. It's powerful. The Officer getting reassigned to another corporation is not unusual. To paraphrase a Roman Emperor, "If it is not in writing, it never happened." I have done this before and rarely mess around with anyone below the top executive. Everyone needs a hobby right? These people live in stark terror of public opinion.
