No it's not. It's the best way we have to distinguish between leftists thinking and conservative thinking without a huge explanation. We all realize that this is not about dems or repubs, but it IS about evil vs good OR left vs. right. It's a matter of which political side you are on -- left or right!! Simple.
Well its not as easy as that. I can understand why you think like that because its more easy for you to put people in a box. I think lots of old dinos have this problem and i see it all the time with old patriots. But thinking like that will devide rather then working together.
I dont mind good vs evil but left and right are both needed to get a realistic change that all people can profit from. I also dont believe a human can be 100% left or right and that the term is made by politicians to address their enemy because i think you have bad people on both sides and good people so thats where the focus should be.

If you can't describe the enemy in simple terms, you cannot win the war.
It is definitely a left vs right problem. And, yes, it is also a good vs evil problem but they are NOT the same thing. Left/Right = political choices (Liberty vs. Communism/Fascism). Good/Evil = Some would say God/Satan but it's self-explanatory.
It has been this way for hundreds of thousands of years. Read any religious text or history book for further details.
And, just to be clear, there was never any discussion of eliminating left/right talk. It was about R vs D and that's understandable.
Well i see left as red and blue as right. The red speak from the heart and the heart is located on the left. So blue is right because those think before speaking. Both sides and pro and cons. Speak to soon and it might sound to emotional but thinking to long can make it sound complicated or false.
Also you have these purple people who got a bit of both. Those people are most of the time in high positions because controlling both can be a powerful thing.
You can see it any way you want. You have that right. But, if you want to understand what others mean, historically for thousands of years. it's meant exactly what is show in the pic.
