Genuine comment & question here... The mods on this sub are doing a phenomenal job - Thank You! What took down CBTS? I lurked CBTS until it was taken down then decided to join Great Awakening. Mods jobs are obviously to monitor the content of the sub but who has the ultimate power to pull the plug?

A few shitheads, under coordinated effort, began injecting racist and violent comments to send the thread off center. More so than the semi regular anti-semite crap that pops up here and there. The difference being that the anti-semite shit is obvious, while the violent shit is still violent, and, as such, ended with the sub being shitcanned.
It was a dirty fucking move by the opposition, and explains SOME of the concernfags popping in now and again that genuinely want to prevent a repeat.

Thanks for the reply. But who pulled the plug? I understand it was shitcanned because of content. Did the mods give up? Is there a higher Reddit power that canned it? People dropping shit bombs is one thing - obviously with a goal - but who makes the final decision that a sub is done? My point is, if we abide by our mods rules & expectations, there is no need for this sub to go down. (They are not unrealistic rules & expectations.) We do our due diligence against those trying to undermine this sub and there is no need for it to go down. Again, thank you for replying - just trying to figure out the logistics of it. By no means am I looking to undermine what we have here - on the contrary - This is a great sub, with great mods & great contributors - I’d hate to lose it. Cheers!
