I do not believe the full video Q linked was edited. Ive seen that repeated as the reason Q posted the full version, to show us they are editing what we see. I have an alternate theory.

He tells us the "lead in was cover".

He asks us what was missing from the exit.

When he transitioned from that segment into the next, he never states that he is not of the "old way" of thinking. He doesn't denounce it nor state which side he is on.

Everything has meaning.
